Step 1 | Enquiry / Requirements
- Identity will contact the client to find out information about the project. If the client does not have a website brief then Identity can supply a worksheet or alternatively a meeting will be arranged.
- Identity will then provide a specification document and this will be sent to the client. The document will present our understanding about the project, the requirements, technologies required and costs.
- A second meeting is sometimes required to discuss the document in more detail. However outstanding points can be discussed over a conference call with all parties involved if travel is an issue.
- If the client is happy to proceed with the project then a contract will be signed by both parties, a working schedule will be agreed and a deposit for the project will be required.
Step 2 | Web Design Process
- Identity completes a brainstorming session amongst colleagues to develop ideas for a design concept. Depending on the size of the project, Identity will carry out a customer modelling process to gain a full understanding of the clients intended market.
- A design layout will be completed by Identity and submitted to the client for approval. The design will be provided in jpeg or similar format and be provided in a webpage so the client can get a good visual representation of the final design.
- Changes to the design maybe required before the client approves and signs off the design. Once the design has been signed off only minor amendments can be made during the development stage.
Step 3 | Web Development
- Identity begins development. At this stage Identity would expect the client to have delivered all the information Identity requested in stage 1.
- Identity will provide the client with a test link to the website (e.g. http://test.site.com) for ongoing communication and development.
- Identity will continue development, but working closely with the client at all times until the client is completely satisfied with the delivered project.
- Identity will launch the website onto the client’s domain name and submit the website to search engines and directories.
Step 4 | Support
- Identity will provide initial training and support for the new project.
- The client will then be given login information to access training and support material via Identity's website portal.
- Identity can arrange a support service to ensure that the client receives all the assistance the client needs to run a successful website / web application.
- Identity's aim is to build a strong working relationship with the client to ensure that after your website is live the client will continue to receive a first class service.
